The event called KING OF LIZZOLA 2020 takes place in an alpine environment and the bottom of the descent of the track is not prepared in any way; To participate it is necessary to be of age, it is obligatory to use a helmet and back protector, it is binding to have the Avalanche search device type ARTVA regularly worn, switched on and placed in transmission from the entrance to the starting zone. This device will be checked before each departure.
The descent will have a minimum journey time under which there will be no marking for the purposes of the ranking and a maximum time, identified by the organizing Committee, communicated in advance to the participants and beyond which the competitor will be excluded from the leaderboard.
The race judges (ski instructors or Alpine guides) will be in a position to see the whole course of the race; The judges will evaluate the descent of the riders according to the classic rules of big mountain, i.e.:
• Descent Line
The choice of the descent line is judged according to its difficulty and originality
• Jumps and stunts
Number and quality of the jumps and stunts faced; The greater the difficulty of the jump, the more will be the points assigned
• Fluidity
Continuity of descent; Breaks are penalized while speed is rewarded
• Control
Athletes who lose the balance or control of the ski are penalized
• Technique
The technique of descent and curves is also judged.
THE JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL.
The Freeride camp with the Alpine guides takes place in unprepared mountain environment, slopes and descent modes are at the discretion of the Alpine guides.
In the camp ARTVA is strongly recommended to each participant; Security is never too much!
The test of freeride materials is free and available for each of the participants.
The judges of the race will be able to postpone or cancel the event if they consider the weather conditions or snow unsuitable.
The organization rejects all responsibilities in the event of damage to materials or persons arising from participation in the event.
The organization does not respond to the physical or material damage that competitors may obtain during the event.
Participation in the event as well as the choice of the descent line will be at the discretion of each individual competitor to be considered informed and aware of the risks inherent in the activities carried out in an unprepared alpine environment.
Each participant, in the event of an accident to himself or to third parties, is required to provide maximum cooperation for first aid operations until the arrival of the assitance on the course.
The organizing committee, whose judgement is unquestionable, may prohibit the descent and the passage in particular points or zones of the route, penalty the immediate disqualification of the participant who does not observe these prohibitions.
It is forbidden to do the reconnaissance of the route in the days before the event with penalty of disqualification.
At the discretion of the organising committee, there is the possibility of reconnaissance for all the participants on the day of the event.
The Organizing committee reserves the right to amend this Regulation.
On the race track photographers and video makers will be present who carry out the reporting of the event, therefore at the time of registration each participant accepts the publication of photographs and videos waiving all kinds of rights and/or Complaint about the same.
